Eiweiß (Protein) dient als Baustoff für die Zunahme und Aufrechterhaltung der Muskulatur und der Erhaltung normaler Knochen. Das enthaltene Natrium trägt zur Aufrechterhaltung der normalen Muskelfunktion bei. Vitamine sind essentielle Nährstoffe. Diese kann der Körper selbst nicht herstellen, das heißt sie müssen über die Nahrung oder Supplemente zugeführt werden.
